Job Description
Own the end-to-end content operations workflow from weekly long-form video to multi-channel distribution. You’ll take a recorded discussion (YouTube “broadcast/podcast”), create shorts, generate written assets, and schedule posts across channels. Light visuals (carousels/graphics) as needed. Includes a weekly email newsletter built from provided transcripts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the weekly video → shorts pipeline (upload, trim, title, description, tags).
- Use Hopus Clip (or similar) to cut long-form videos into short clips.
- Use CastMagic.io to generate: YouTube descriptions, show notes, captions, post copy, and newsletter text.
- Schedule/publish to YouTube and social channels (incl. LinkedIn; occasional LinkedIn Article posting).
- Prepare and schedule a weekly newsletter (platform provided by client).
- Create simple Canva carousels/graphics or leverage the scheduler’s AI-image features as needed.
- Keep a tidy content calendar; track statuses, links, and publish dates.
- Document steps, maintain SOPs, and surface ideas to improve workflow.
Must-Haves
- Content ops discipline: follows checklists, hits deadlines, keeps assets organized.
- Tool readiness: quick to learn CastMagic.io, Hopus Clip, YouTube Studio, and social schedulers.
- Excellent written English (clean copy, on-brand tone, light edits).
- Platform fluency: YouTube upload settings, end screens/cards, tags, shorts basics.
- Scheduling competence across multiple social channels.
- Basic design skills for carousels/graphics (Canva) when needed.
- Detail orientation for metadata, links, UTM/hashtags, and formatting.
Nice-to-Haves
- LinkedIn Articles formatting/publishing experience.
- Newsletter platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, Beehiiv).
- Light SEO (titles, keywords, thumbnails coordination).
- Simple analytics pulls (views, CTR, watch time) and weekly summaries.
