Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting and HR Officer to oversee daily financial management and human resource operations. The ideal candidate will have a balanced skill set in accounting and HR, with excellent organizational skills, discretion in handling sensitive information, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Key Responsibilities | Accounting Duties:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Reconcile bank statements; assist with month-end and year-end closing
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, ledgers, and records
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
Key Responsibilities | HR Duties:
- Maintain employee records and HR databases
- Coordinate recruitment processes: job postings, screening, interview scheduling
- Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documentation
- Manage payroll, benefits administration, and leave tracking
- Support performance evaluation and training initiatives
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in both accounting and HR functions
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite
- Experience in payroll processing, invoicing, and bank reconciliation
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage both financial and HR responsibilities
Working Hours:
- Full Time (40 hours/week)
- EST Time zone
$900 - $1,100 a month
