Supply Chain Associate

As a Supply Chain Associate you will play a key role in the execution of our contracts. This role will have a front row seat into the different commodities and components required to build and launch a satellite into space!

Role:

    • Support the Supply Chain team on day to day activities which include the following:
    • Generate Purchase Orders, track shipments, and report shipment status
    • Support Engineering with procuring components that will be used to build our satellites
    • Communicate with vendors for product information
    • Help with shipping and receiving of parts
    • Work with the Finance team to monitor spending on various purchases and to resolve invoice and credit processing issues
    • Manage accuracy of open purchase orders, and ensure suppliers confirm all purchase orders and provide committed ship dates
    • Work on material receipt issues and resolve accordingly
    • Maintain relevant purchasing data in our systems
    • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates to our rapidly-growing team

Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, communications or a similar discipline (comparable experience)
    • 1 to 2 years work experience in a high-paced setting
    • Adaptable, moves quickly, with a desire to learn
    • Ability to effectively communicate
    • Incredibly detail-oriented — the type of person who loves high-volume logistics and is hyper-organized
    • US Citizenship or Green Card (Note: This is due to U.S. export regulations, and we are unable to make exceptions.)

Bonus:

    • Experience with hardware manufacturing
    • Experience with enterprise resource planning and inventory / asset management systems
