A-TEK is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Trainer with a strong background in change management and instructional design to lead training and change management activities within our Government Clients’ IT department. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating curriculums, implementing change management strategies, and developing training materials to support the client's programs effectively. As a Technical Trainer specializing in ServiceNow, you will play a crucial role in equipping our employees with the knowledge and skills necessary to leverage the full potential of the ServiceNow platform. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs tailored to various skill levels and job functions within our organization. This position is REMOTE.

Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and objectives.
    • Design comprehensive training curricula covering various aspects of ServiceNow, including administration, development, and implementation.
    • Develop training materials such as presentations, manuals, exercises, and assessments.
    • Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions through various mediums, including instructor-led classes, webinars, and self-paced e-learning modules.
    • Adapt training delivery methods to accommodate different learning styles and preferences.
    • Conduct hands-on workshops and simulations to reinforce learning and practical application of ServiceNow concepts.
    • Customize training programs to align with specific organizational requirements and workflows.
    • Tailor training content to address the needs of different departments and job roles, such as IT administrators, developers, and end-users.
    •  Assess the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics.
    • Continuously improve training materials and methodologies based on feedback and industry best practices.
    •  Apply change management principles to ServiceNow platform implementations, guiding stakeholders, and users through the change process to minimize resistance and maximize adoption.
    • Develop change management strategies, communication plans, and stakeholder engagement tactics tailored to each phase of the ServiceNow deployment lifecycle.
    • Facilitate change impact assessments and risk analyses to identify potential barriers and develop mitigation strategies proactively.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ServiceNow features, updates, and best practices.
    • Serve as a resource for employees seeking assistance with ServiceNow-related questions or issues.
    • Partner with internal stakeholders, such as IT leaders, project managers, and business analysts, to ensure training initiatives support organizational goals and initiatives.
    • Collaborate with external vendors or consultants as needed to enhance training offerings or expertise.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience) preferred.
    • Proven experience in designing and delivering technical training programs, preferably focused on ServiceNow or similar enterprise platforms.
    • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and practices.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
    • Experience with instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Strong critical thinking skills and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
    • ServiceNow certification(s) such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred but not required.
