AthenaPsych is a New York State mental health-approved provider of community mental health services for children, adults, and families with behavioral and emotional challenges. We specialize in individual and group psychotherapy for clients with a focus on trauma-informed care. Here at Athena, we pride ourselves on hiring a diverse group of mental health clinicians and staff who are passionate and dedicated to improving our clients’ overall emotional well-being. We provide both in-person and telehealth services for our clients. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Perform clerical and administrative tasks, including but not limited to drafting letters, creating
    • memos, tracking invoices, and creating reports.
    • Support the executive team with tracking and reporting on KPIs, and physical footprint expansion efforts.
    • Arrange travel and accommodation arrangements for the Chief Executive Officer and Chief
    • Operating Officer.
    • Organize and schedule meetings on behalf of the CEO and the COO.
    • Receive incoming communication on behalf of the CEO and the COO and respond accordingly.
    • Responsible for ordering and maintaining the inventory of office supplies and equipment for all
    • Athena locations.
    • Participate in executive meetings by providing administrative support, capturing meeting minutes,
    • and sharing recaps with the leadership team.
    • Support the Fractional CMO as necessary to implement marketing initiatives.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned by the CEO and the COO.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience as an Executive Assistant
    • Detail-oriented and outcome-driven
    • Able to discreetly handle sensitive and confidential information
    • Social media savvy 
    • Graphic design background a plus
    • Accountability and integrity
    • Meticulous attention to detail while multitasking
    • Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
    • Demonstrates emotional intelligence in personal interactions
    • Exceptional communication skills - written and verbal
    • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other software/applications
$95,000 - $100,000 a year
Compensation is based on credentials and years of experience.

Working Conditions:
The primary work location is our Manhattan clinic. This is a professional work environment where a computer, desk, chair, and office supplies will be provided in the office.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the role above. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear and speak on the phone or through virtual telehealth sessions conducted on a computer throughout the day, stand and sit for an extended period, and be able to write and answer emails in addition to carrying objects no greater than 20 pounds, when needed.
