About Athlete to Athlete
Athlete to Athlete is a fast-growing, venture-backed start-up based in Los Angeles that offers Athletic Mentorship and Coaching Programs for youth athletes. In our programs, student-athletes are paired with a current Division 1 College-Athlete Mentor who plays their sport and can help build their confidence, taking their game to the next level. Our mission is to build the next generation of driven, confident, and resilient student-athletes through mentorship.
About the Role
In this position, you will contribute to our day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of our program. Your responsibilities will include customer communication, mentor coordination, meeting facilitation, and more. You will have a unique opportunity to learn what it is like to manage the customer lifecycle from start to finish and see your impact firsthand. Being exposed to all aspects of the business, you will learn the ins and outs of a startup environment and see how a system is built from the ground up.
You will work cross-departmentally to most effectively coordinate efforts across the company. This is an on-site position based in Santa Monica, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Trigger various workflow automations for onboarding and managing mentor/mentee administrative tasks
- Serve as an administrator for our texting platform that communicates with both guardians and mentors and answer questions through email
- Audit our master operations spreadsheet and take appropriate action as needed to keep operations running smoothly
- Oversee customer records in our billing system (Stripe) and mentor (employee) records in our internal HR system
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
- Intrinsically detail-oriented – you’ll be working with many systems that are key to our success
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Nice To Have
- Proficiency with Excel/ Google Sheets
- College athletic experience
$18 - $20 an hour
