ABOUT YOU:
Atmosphere is on the hunt for an IT Systems Administrator to maintain, upgrade, and manage our software, hardware, and networks. If you’re resourceful, love to build resilient systems, and can find and fix problems quickly we’d like to hear from you. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. This person will protect critical systems like our network and AV infrastructure, build solutions, make sure our Mac-centric fleet of devices is up-to-date and secure, and assist in executing the overall IT strategy. 

This is an on-site role in Austin, TX!  Availability to be in-office 5 days a week is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Install, configure, and maintain essential IT infrastructure, including our Cisco Meraki network and our Google Meet conference room AV stack.
    • Proactively build new solutions for the staff and identify areas where we can improve our overall IT program.
    • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
    • Assist the help desk and other teams with troubleshooting to identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed for issues and outages.
    • Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
    • Upgrade systems with new releases and models
    • Manage our fleet of Mac and Windows computers
    • Maintain our audio visual infrastructure (we use Google Meet video conferencing technology primarily)

REQUIREMENTS:

    • Proven experience and success as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role
    • Experience with JAMF, InTune, or other fleet management systems is a solid plus
    • Experience with Cisco Meraki networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
    • Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
    • Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language
    • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
    • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
