Atmosphere is the world’s first and largest free ad-supported streaming TV service for businesses offering original, owned, and operated TV channels and Partner Channels from prominent brands. The platform also provides a free digital signage feature for businesses to run house promotions within the content. Atmosphere was incubated under Chive Media Group and spun out in 2019.
ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Atmosphere is seeking a highly creative, ambitious, innovative, and organized Producer to curate, write, and edit video content for Atmosphere News Channels.
The ideal candidate has strong writing and communication skills, with experience creating videos across various platforms. The candidate should be both strong in ideation as well as in production. The Producer will work across all our Live channels, focusing on News. A passion for viral videos, art, music, fashion, culture, TV, movies, and all things entertainment is a must.
This role is based in our Austin, Texas office. The schedule will include weekends.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Curate, edit, write, and produce video and graphics content
- Stay on top of news and trends and pitch story ideas
- Work with leadership on strategy, ideation, and execution
- Work on special projects as assigned
- Constantly exhibit journalistic standards, practices, and discipline
- Work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-2 years of professional social, digital, or TV experience (development, writing, producing, shooting)
- Proactive work ethic under deadline pressure
- Experience with Adobe Suite: Premiere and After Effects
- Strong interest in News and Entertainment
- A true team player and innovator who brings passion to the table
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Efficiency with Google Suite (i.e., Sheets, Docs)
