The opportunity

As a primary point of contact for new Western Australian customers, you'll play a crucial role from the initial introduction of Atomi's products through to successful onboarding. In this role, you will conduct product demonstrations that are not only compelling but also educational, capturing the interest and imagination of prospective customers. You'll work closely with our customers to thoroughly understand the specific needs of each school, ensuring our product offerings are perfectly aligned with their educational goals. This includes diligently documenting essential details such as main use cases, deal timeframes, and necessary action steps to support clear and actionable communication.

A significant part of your role involves building and maintaining robust, enduring relationships with key school contacts, creating a foundation of trust and mutual respect. You will also manage and prioritise pricing negotiations, skilfully navigating discussions to close deals effectively.

What you’ll do

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for new customers from the initial introduction to the successful onboarding.
    • Conduct compelling product demonstrations that captivate and educate prospective customers.
    • Diligently partner with our customers to understand the specific needs of each school, articulating the relevant benefits of our products and ensuring alignment with their goals.
    • Document key details accurately, including main use cases, deal timeframes, and action steps.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key school contacts.
    • Prioritise and manage pricing negotiations to successfully close deals.
    • Consistently utilise CRM tools for effective lead management and pipeline forecasting.
    • Conduct periodic customer health checks focused on maximising customer satisfaction and long-term retention.

What you'll bring to Atomi

    • Demonstrable track record in a sales environment, with a focus on meeting and exceeding objectives.
    • Experience in fast-paced settings, showcasing an ability to prioritise and adapt.
    • Experience working in a team collaboration environment.
    • Experience in making outbound calls and conducting high-level business discussions.
    • Experience within the education sector, particularly working with schools or educational staff, will be highly regarded.
    • Previous experience in delivering presentations to a range of audiences, including senior executives
    • Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.
    • Proficiency in digital communication platforms and presentation tools.
