The opportunity

Within the Atomi School Partnerships team, our Senior Business Development Representatives spearhead the introduction of Atomi to prospective educational institutions. Day to day, the role focuses primarily on generating leads, unpacking the specific requirements of potential partners and creating customised solutions to address these needs, with the ultimate goal of cultivating new business opportunities and building lasting partnerships. 

Collaborating closely with teams across Atomi, including Business Development, Customer Success, Marketing, and Customer Support, you will ensure each new partner has a seamless and successful journey, from initial contact through to onboarding.

What you’ll do

    • Conduct targeted outbound calls to identify new business opportunities and generate leads.
    • Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients, showcasing our value proposition and solutions.
    • Engage and communicate effectively with senior-level executives and board members to build and maintain strategic relationships.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and business development teams to align strategies and enhance lead generation efforts.
    • Provide feedback and market insights to the business development and product teams to improve offerings and strategies.

What you'll bring to Atomi

    • High level of self-motivation, resilience and determination.
    • Proven experience in sales, meeting and exceeding targets or KPIs.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Background in phone-based roles, demonstrating effective outreach strategies to prospects.
    • A history of working in fast-paced environments, demonstrating adaptability and perseverance.
    • Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage and persuade.
    • Experience in dealing with senior-level executives and board members.
    • Proficiency in using HubSpot for managing leads and forecasting sales pipelines.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Competence in managing video conferencing tools for virtual presentations and product demonstrations.
    • Experience in the education sector, particularly in engaging with schools or teachers, is highly regarded.
