Join Atomi: Innovate, empower and inspire in the Edtech world.

Our mission is to help unlock the world’s potential by optimising the way we teach and learn. With a unique blend of technology and creativity, we bring learning to life, making complex concepts simple and accessible to students, educators, and parents alike.

We’re a team driven by our core values: a deep-rooted passion for learning, a relentless pursuit of quality at speed, humility in our growth, a commitment to pushing boundaries, empowering others fearlessly and championing the needs of our customers. Our culture is built on these values, ensuring we stay agile, innovative and empathetic to the evolving needs of the education community.

At Atomi, you’ll be encouraged to think creatively, work collaboratively and contribute to a mission where every piece of work is a step towards realising our collective potential in classrooms and beyond.

The Opportunity

Atomi is at an exciting inflection point. We've evolved from being the new kid on the block to becoming a fierce competitor in the ed-tech space. With a goal to reach over 1 million students in the next five years, we've recently established a Growth department dedicated to nurturing and expanding relationships within our established customer base.

As the Leader of this team, you'll play a crucial role within the broader School Partnerships management team, leading 7-8 Growth Account Executives across multiple states in Australia.

Beyond growing our existing business, your team will collaborate closely with our Customer Success and New Business Accounts teams to maintain strong internal relationships and create mutually beneficial outcomes for both our customers and Atomi.
Given that the Atomi team is largely remote, you'll act as the glue that holds the team together across regions and geographies. Reporting to the Head of Growth and Customer Success, you’ll guide this remote team to success in alignment with the broader Atomi School Partnerships targets.

As a leader, you are a coach first and foremost, with your team's success at the forefront of everything you do. Your focus will be on developing your team, understanding that your success is directly tied to theirs.

What you'll do

    • Ensure that targets are hit for your team.
    • Take ownership of the planning and forecasting of revenue for your team.
    • Work closely with Head of Growth and Customer Success to build GTM strategies to maximise the potential of existing customer relationships.
    • Ensure that sales and marketing strategies are executed.
    • Proactively collaborate with Marketing to ensure we have appropriate lead-generation activities for your team and regions.
    • Build strong relationships with Customer Success counterparts to create growth plans for Atomi’s existing customers.
    • Investigate and manage each stage of the sales pipeline to ensure good throughput of deals.
    • Confidently run analysis of sales numbers and identify areas we are able to optimise.
    • Recruit, train, manage and coach members of your team and empower them to hit their targets. This includes building a top performance culture and enabling growth and development opportunities across your team.
    • Best-in-class processes, practices, and efficiency.
    • Upskill and train team members on various parts of the sales process.
    • Promote and enable strong collaboration and partnerships between your team and the broader Atomi business including Customer Success, Sales, Product and Marketing.

What you'll bring to the role

    • Comfortability with ambiguity. This is a brand new role which requires someone who is extremely comfortable in an environment of lengthy sales cycles, complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders.
    • The ability to attract, motivate, and manage A+ talent to deliver strong results!
    • A passion for what we do. You'll act as model custodian of Atomi's Schools Partnerships team across the business in a way that promotes company culture and is not corrosive for the sake of growth.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts and insights concisely.
    • Accessible, approachable, and collaborative interpersonal skills. We have an incredibly empowering and collaborative sales culture and want a leader to facilitate that culture as we scale.
    • Humility/willingness to question one’s own assumptions/desire to constantly improve.
    • Experience in sales management and leadership within a SaaS business. Startup experience is desirable but not essential.
    • EdTech or Education industry experience is a bonus.
    • Experience working in emerging or developing markets with a largely remote team.
