The opportunity

As the pivotal Growth Account Executive within the School Partnerships team, this role is an essential position in achieving our mission. Tasked with enhancing our existing customer base across various Australian states, your mission is to nurture and grow our connections. In collaboration with our dedicated Customer Success team, you'll seek out and seize expansion opportunities, leading the charge in both strategy and commercial discussions.

Reporting to the Customer Success Team Lead, your efforts will align closely with the broader team, ensuring unified progress. As a true custodian of the Atomi brand, you’ll be committed to deepening relationships with each customer, mapping out a tailored growth journey with Atomi.

What you’ll do

    • Own and conduct lead-generation efforts within your shared accounts.
    • Meet and/or exceed revenue targets.
    • Partner with our existing Customer Success Managers to ensure the execution of customer strategies, identify growth opportunities, and drive the long-term success of your customers.
    • Proactively collaborate with the Sales team to understand growth drivers within the market and create a plan to be successful.
    • Analyse customer sales data with confidence and pinpoint areas for optimisation.
    • Act as an Atomi classroom expert by understanding classroom dynamics, navigating the pressures of school environments, and delivering significant value to stakeholders in each school.
    • Guide our customers to uncover the enduring benefits of the Atomi platform, enhancing their educational journey over time.
    • Ensure strong collaboration and partnership with the broader Atomi business, including Sales, Product and Marketing.
    • Champion the Atomi brand, striving to enhance our brand identity within the market.

What you’ll bring to Atomi

    • Experience in account management and/or customer success and with a strong ability to negotiate mutually beneficial commercial outcomes.
    • Experience working in a business with a ‘land and expand’ strategy.
    • Experience working in a startup environment is beneficial.
    • Experience partnering with internal departments and teams to deliver outcomes.
    • Proven success in delivering and exceeding targets.
    • Ability to foster a strong working relationship with your internal stakeholders.
    • Be a good model and custodian of the sales and customer success team across the business in a way that promotes company culture and is not corrosive to growth.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts and insights concisely.
    • Humility and willingness to question one’s assumptions with the desire to improve constantly.
    • EdTech or Education industry experience is a bonus.
