The opportunity
We’re looking for a Subject Team Lead who’s passionate about science education and ready to lead a talented team to deliver high-quality Biology, Chemistry and Movement content to students and teachers across Australia.
In this role, you'll guide content creators and visual designers to produce engaging, accurate and curriculum-aligned courses. You’ll take ownership of content delivery, team performance, and continuous improvement in how we work.
What You'll Do
- Lead and support a team of content creators working on Biology and Chemistry courses.
- Give regular feedback, run performance reviews, and help your team grow.
- Hire, onboard and train new team members. Build a positive, collaborative team culture.
- Make sure all content is clear, accurate, on-brand and grounded in solid pedagogy.
- Review work and provide clear, constructive feedback to keep quality high.
- Stay across curriculum updates, teaching best practice and competitor resources.
- Shape how courses are built—recommend lesson structures, content approaches and improvements.
- Use project tools (like Google Sheets and JIRA) to plan, track and manage team work and deadlines.
- Use data and feedback to improve course quality and user experience.
- Work with the Content Leadership team to improve processes and share learnings.
- Help shape and deliver the subject content roadmap.
- Publish Biology, Chemistry and Movement courses to our platform with a high level of accuracy.
