Company & Role Overview: 

We are a well-funded seed-stage company backed by Atomic VC and other prominent VC firms. We're building a different kind of fintech company. Purpose-built software integrated natively with intelligent fintech products, and we're focused on a $20B+ industry. 

After closing a fresh round of funding, our small product development team is now looking to make our first in-house Lead Product Design hire. We are looking for a HUNGRY and experienced product designer who has proven they can create clear UX workflows within complex and/or large product areas. You should be able to produce designs quickly, take feedback in stride, and iterate to produce the best experience to launch and get real user feedback. Producing clean user flows for today’s product experience, with the future state in mind, is crucial.

As the founding member of the Design team, you’ll play an instrumental part in bringing the product to market and establishing the foundation for future growth. It’s an opportunity to join a company still in its infancy and create an elegant solution that delights end users and unlocks tremendous value for them.

What You’ll Do

    • Own the user journey and understand the product vision. Audit the current product and recommend updates.
    • Create a UX map based on long-term vision and the full user journey. Implement UX/UI improvements across the existing product.
    • Develop user flows and designs for new features, including mobile. Conduct user testing and research calls.
    • Design UX/UI for new features, including mobile experiences. Establish a design system.
    • Promote a user-centered design practice.

What You’ll Bring

    • Proven experience in creating clear and effective UX workflows within complex or large product areas.
    • Ability to produce designs rapidly, take feedback constructively, and iterate to enhance user experiences.
    • Strong focus on producing clean user flows that anticipate future product growth, minimizing the need for continuous changes to navigation and user flows.
    • Excellent collaboration skills to work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless product development.
    • Experience in conducting user testing and research to gather real user feedback and inform design decisions.
    • A strategic mindset to contribute to both hands-on design execution and broader design strategy.
    • Passion for building innovative fintech products and experience working in product-led growth tech companies is preferred.
    • A proactive and driven attitude, with a strong desire to grow and scale within the company.

$170,000 - $190,000 a year
