The Role

We are seeking a Director People to join our team!
 
Reporting to the Vice President Product & Technology, the Director People will lead and manage the People & Culture function for Attabotics. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Employee Lifecycle Management, including but not limited to talent management, organizational development. The Director will lead a high performing team and partner with the organization at large to align the People strategy with the company’s goals and support the company’s growth by creating an effective, efficient, and positive work environment.

Who you are

    • Completed post secondary education in Business Commerce or equivalent
    • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in human resources, with proven experience in a leadership role driving high performing teams 
    • Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities 
    • Proficiency in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Co pilot)
    • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and work effectively across teams
    • High degree of integrity and confidentiality
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills 
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams 
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast paced small enterprise growth environment

    • Lead the development and execution of the company’s People strategy to support the organization’s objectives and growth
    • Advise the executive leadership team on People strategies, policies, and best practices to drive employee engagement, retention, and overall business success
    • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture  
    • Conduct regular evaluations, provide feedback, and set clear goals to guide individual and team success
    • Support skill enhancement through training, certifications, and career development opportunities
    • Attract top talent and ensure smooth onboarding with structured orientation and training
    • Build team flexibility through skill diversification and knowledge-sharing practices
    • Promote work-life balance, recognize achievements, and encourage open communication
    • Prepare future leaders and maintain continuity for critical roles
    • Develop and monitor key workforce metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of People & Culture programs and initiatives
    • Prepare regular reporting for senior leadership on People-related issues, such as employee turnover, engagement, recruitment progress, and diversity
    • Act as a key point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and resolution to conflicts, grievances, and employee concerns 
    • Ensure a positive organizational culture by fostering open communication, collaboration, and employee satisfaction
    • Lead initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and overall workplace morale
    • Managing/overseeing the employee onboarding and off boarding experience to provide feedback across shared services for a CQI process 
    • Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with industry standards
    • Evaluate and recommend changes to the benefits package to enhance employee satisfaction and attract top talent 
    • Lead the performance management process, including goal setting, KPIs, employee evaluations, and feedback mechanisms
    • Assist leaders in identifying and addressing performance challenges and recommend interventions where necessary
    • Support change management initiatives and help guide the organization through periods of growth or transition
    • Design and implement employee development programs to enhance employee skills, leadership capabilities, and career growth
    • Partner with leadership to identify and address training needs across the organization
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, ensuring that employees have the resources and support to succeed in their roles
    • Oversee the talent acquisition process to attract, hire, and retain top talent across all levels of the organization
    • Implement effective talent management strategies at scale, including workforce planning, succession planning, and career development programs
    • Manage talent pipeline development and ensure a strong candidate experience throughout the hiring process
