We are looking for a benefits specialist who is responsible for assisting with the administration of all benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, wellness, and 401(k) plan.

Responsibilites:

    • Manages the benefits inbox on a day to day basis.  Responds to employees in a timely manner and escalates issues as necessary to the Senior Benefits Manager
    • Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.
    • Processes life status changes.
    • Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.
    • Performs quality checks of benefits-related data.
    • Assists with the open enrollment process including drafting communications, testing configuration, providing necessary reporting to vendors and answering employee questions. 
    • Assists in administering leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA.
    • Effectively interprets FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities.
    • Responds to 401(k) inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts. 
    • Manages invoicing and bill processing for benefits programs.
    • Assists with other people operations projects as required 

Skills & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field of study.
    • Two years experience in HR and/or benefits administration.
    • Broad general knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a dynamic environment

    • For NY based applicants:
    • The standard base salary range for this position is $64,000 - $82,000 annually
    • This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs
