The Director of Product Marketing will lead our product marketing team and play a critical role in scaling our marketing operation. You’ll be responsible for managing the team, owning our positioning, customer marketing and product launch strategies. You’ll also help develop our team’s intelligence gathering, research and enablement functions. 

What you'll do:

    • Take ownership of our positioning strategy to develop both product and feature messaging that’ll win and retain customers.
    • Partner with our product leadership team to ensure regular cadence of launches and organize GTM plans with your team.
    • Oversee, prioritize and support core product marketing deliverables for a variety of stakeholders, including positioning, messaging, sales collateral, case studies, and sales enablement.
    • Partner with the demand gen team to optimize and develop nurture programs targeted to drive customer engagement.
    • Oversee the strategy for customer communication related to pricing, packaging and product releases.
    • Develop a deep understanding of our customers. Establish and manage a customer advisory board.
    • Build strong relationships between product marketing, sales, product management, and customer success.
    • Act as a player/coach and serve as a key leader and mentor within the marketing team.

What you'll bring to the table:

    • You have 4-6 years of experience working in product marketing or customer marketing. 
    • You’re a self-starter and eager to make a direct impact on the business
    • .You’re a problem solver who can develop and execute on clear plans.
    • Highly skilled in internal enablement to support feature launches, competitive intel, positioning strategy and more.
    • Experience building relationships and working cross-functionally with product and GTM teams.
    • Proven ability to drive product marketing including developing product messaging and different content types for different audiences and channels

    • Passion for small businesses & entrepreneurs.
    • Understanding of ecommerce and the ecommerce tech space
