About Us
Iris by Audinate is revolutionizing the way devices, AI, and cloud software interact—enabling a new OS for AV devices.
The Role
We're hiring a Product Manager to lead the roadmap for Iris Enabled Devices — defining the future of cloud-connected, AI-powered professional AV, robotics, and IoT hardware. You’ll be responsible for the strategy and execution of features across a growing ecosystem of cameras, audio gear, lighting systems, and other smart devices built by OEM partners.
This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and strategic hardware partnerships. You’ll shape the long-term product vision, manage integrations with hardware manufacturers, and help bring high-performance, software-integrated hardware to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Roadmap: Define, prioritize, and deliver the roadmap for Iris-enabled hardware, bridging embedded systems, cloud services, and user-facing features.
- Drive Go-to-Market: Partner with OEMs and internal teams to launch new devices — from concept through certification and commercial release.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with engineering, customer success, and OEM partners to scope features, define requirements, and manage delivery.
- Lead Technical Partnerships: Serve as the product lead for integrations with hardware manufacturers — defining joint goals and tracking implementation progress.
- Hardware/Software Integration: Translate customer needs and technical constraints into scalable, reliable software-driven hardware products.
- Field Feedback Loop: Collect and synthesize feedback from OEMs, customers, and internal stakeholders to inform roadmap and product improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in software-integrated hardware or IoT.
- Proven track record of bringing software-based products to market.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems, device communication protocols, and cloud-connected hardware.
- Experience working with external vendors or OEMs — especially in AV, robotics, or connected devices.
- Excellent technical communication and project management skills.
- Ability to balance technical depth with market awareness to drive product direction.
Nice to have
- Experience with AV standards (Dante, NDI, RTSP, VISCA, UVC).
- Background in live production, robotics, or connected consumer devices.
- Familiarity with camera firmware, video protocols, or real-time media systems.
Why join us?
- Own the roadmap for a groundbreaking product with global reach across millions of devices.
- Be part of Audinate, a global leader in professional AV networking solutions.
