About the role: 

You will be supporting corporate, wireless, and physical network infrastructure, as well as clients, including desktop support tasks. Additionally, you will lead the IT team in ensuring local and cloud system uptime and maintaining services and devices within the organization. Our ideal candidate should meet the job requirements, be willing to go the extra mile to ensure the IT function's tasks are completed seamlessly and be able to mentor the team.

Responsibilities:

    • Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
    • Develop process improvements with identified and resolved problems.
    • Provide escalation support and mentorship to the systems engineering team.
    • Lead strategic IT initiatives to improve support and infrastructure growth/expansion.
    • Maintaining SLAs for IT support and infrastructure uptime.
    • Reporting on project status and support SLAs.
    • Installation and troubleshooting of Windows, Mac, Applications and Security Patches.
    • Experience on basic hardware assembling and troubleshooting.
    • SaaS administration (e.g. GSuite, Zoom, Service Desk).
    • Network (LAN) connection setup and troubleshooting for workstations. 
    • Knowledge on network protocols and configurations (Layer 2 and 3)
    • Inventory Management (Hardware, Software, Licensing).
    • Monitoring, Reporting and Documentation.
    • Windows Server and Desktop Environments.
    • System expertise required on Okta, Mac workstations, google workspace services , VM Ware ESXi, general WAN and VPN Connections, Cisco /Meraki Networks

Requirements:


    • CCNA or 5+ Years of information technology experience (Hardware Troubleshooting and Networking)
    • Working Knowledge in a HIPAA environment is preferred
    • Willingness to work in Nightshift (EST and PST time zones)
    • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology or Equivalent
