About The Role:

We're seeking a seasoned Full Stack Engineering Director to join our growing team. In this leadership role, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the development lifecycle of our clinicians facing solutions, from ideation and architecture to implementation and deployment. You'll wear many hats, acting as a technical visionary, a mentor, and a collaborative leader who empowers high-performing teams.

Responsibiltiies:

    • Responsible for leading a team of developers to build clinical applications, on mobile and web
    • Lead and develop a team of 15 engineers in multiple geographies to build engaging clinical applications (iOS, Android) and server side components
    • Enable team’s growth and operations: hiring, compensation, goals and objectives, performance evaluation, and career development
    • Become a thought partner with the Product team to understand the end users and their healthcare specialties and use cases to effectively represent user needs within the engineering org
    • Present the group’s roadmap and strategy to stakeholders in the company and outside the company
    • Receive high level strategic guidelines and be able to translate them to technical roadmap and operational plan

Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in leading development teams of similar size
    • 8+ years of experience in building enterprise applications 
    • Excellent leadership and management skills with emphasis on mentoring, motivating, and driving a large team to success
    • Excellent communicator and presentation skills
    • Energetic, motivated, and customer focused
    • Exceptional critical and highly analytical thinking skills
    • Define a strategy and lead long term plans
    • Ability to decompose complex problems, prioritize issues, and implement sensible solutions
    • Proficient experience managing outages, customer escalations, crisis management, and other similar circumstances
    • Excellent understanding of building enterprise grade applications: cloud deployments, microservices architecture, mobile platforms, web technologies, data streaming and cybersecurity
    • Experience with variety of mobile device: phones, tablets, wearables
    • Experience with Public Clouds (AWS, GCP)Experience in SDK Development and integration
    • Experience in building team: effective hiring, defining roles and responsibilities, building operational frameworks
    • Able and willing to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment
    • Able to achieve outcomes in a matrixed environment. Ability to influence without authority
    • Understanding of cybersecurity methodology such as threat modeling, security risk analysis, vulnerability management
    • Proven experience in software development and design
    • Ability to provide feedback about design patterns, code architecture, and algorithms.
$175,000 - $300,000 a year
Salary range is listed above. There are several factors that determine final pay for a position including location and experience. Total compensation will typically include salary + performance bonus + equity.
