Your New Role
In this newly created role, you’ll be responsible for managing AE’s superannuation and pension products (including insurance) for Australian Ethical ensuring they’re competitive in market, deliver on customer value proposition, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, meet commercial outcomes and innovate over time. In doing so, you’ll  support AE’s growth objectives by delivering net flows and help maintain AE’s position as the leading provider of ethical investing.

Key responsibilities include:
·       Implementing the product strategy for the Superannuation (including Group Insurance) and Pension product  
·       Identifying, designing and implementing product innovation/development and changes to features
·       Evaluating competitiveness, cost and pricing of products and services, and providing recommendations of solutions and improvements
·       Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve customer experience
·       Providing technical expertise for Superannuation and Insurance
·       Assisting the Trustee Office with their Superannuation oversight activities
·       Ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations including implementing regulatory change
·       Preparation of board papers and board reporting
·       Reviewing, updating and signing off on disclosure documents, marketing collateral and calculations
·       Assist in the resolution of complaint escalations and complex insurance claims  
·       Project managing the resolution of incidents and remediation activity
·       Provide support to the Trustee Office, Client Services and Sales staff across their client facing activities. 
·       Management and continuous improvement of key product processes 
·       Developing and maintaining strong relationships, championing the product suite internally and externally
 
About You
You’re a practised Superannuation Product Manager - technically strong, you inherently understand super product management, development and delivery. You’re a team player with highly developed interpersonal and relationship management skills with a track record of successfully working across a business to deliver impactful outcomes in product. If you have all, or most of the following, we’d love to hear from you:
 
·       7+ years’ experience in investment, specifically superannuation products
·       Demonstrated track record of successfully managing a superannuation product strategy
·       Deep technical understanding of superannuation products, including end to end product lifecycle and value chain
·       Proven experience of working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to manage and deliver a portfolio of superannuation products
·       Working knowledge of SIS legislation and an ability to understand legislative requirements for superannuation
·       Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
