Your New Role
As an integral part of our Fund Accounting team you’ll support the delivery of daily, weekly and monthly tasks predominantly for our managed investment scheme product portfolio. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, high performing team environment, applying your astute accounting skills and strong analytical mindset to deliver on time, accurate information, with the opportunity to streamline processes and make enhancements where you can!
 
Key responsibilities include:
·       Preparation of oversight models for the review of daily unit prices
·       Monitoring of liquidity positions and preparation of daily cashflow and investment trade instructions
·       Preparation and review of periodic regulatory reporting, quarterly BAS return lodgements and annual income tax returns
·       Calculation of Investment (incl. performance) fees and rebates
·       Review and analysis of Custodian fee invoices
·       Review of fund distribution calculations and unit registry statements across a variety of asset classes and investment strategies
·       Preparation and review of interim and annual financial statements in accordance with established accounting standards
·       Pro-active contribution to, and support of, the planning and implementation of strategic initiatives and process improvements
 
About You
You’re ambitious and determined, looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity. You’ll be self-motivated, dedicated, have a high level of integrity and work ethic and want to be part of a talented team making a genuine impact everyday. If you have all, or most of the following, we’d love to hear from you:
·      1-2 years experience in a Fund Accounting, Fund Operations or Middle Office Operations role
·       Intermediate Excel Skills with the ability to manage spreadsheets and use formulas
·       Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting or Finance (or working towards)
