The Auth0 Marketing Team is looking for a Director, Growth & Marketing Engineering skilled in leading a high performing, experiment focused growth team. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in growth strategies, digital channels, creating referral loops, content strategy, A/B testing design and analysis, and SEO from a hyper-growth B2B technology

This role can be based from a home office anywhere in the U.S. 

What You Will Do

    • Support and lead a team of marketers, engineers, and analysts that are focused on building dynamic experiences and experiments across Auth0 web properties
    • Create, define and implement Growth Loops to drive engagement and pipeline with help of the Growth Engineering team
    • Create, measure, and report on key area KPIs and iterate on programs to drive future growth.
    • Inbound-first optimization of A/B testing across our real estate and frequent user testing and interviewing to glean insights and new growth opportunities.
    • Help marketing understand and define experiments to drive growth. Ensure that our internal platforms are optimized to deliver a high quantity of valuable tests
    • Conversion and page health optimization - driving conversion, bounce, exit, and page-pathing optimization toward self-service signup and form fills.
    • Advise on methods of user outreach (email, on-site, etc) to drive activation and retention through a tight bond with Product Onboarding/Growth function to ensure safe transit of trial signups through mid-funnel and into a successfully shipped app.
    • Build and manage project plans, drive cross-functional team deliverables, coordinate with outside vendors, and see projects through to completion on time/budget.
    • Create, measure, and report on key area KPIs and iterate on programs to drive future growth.
    • Build and deploy dynamic personalized experiences for inbound traffic 
    • Collaborate with other cross-functional leaders in Marketing Sales, Revenue Operations, and Product
    • Maintain a high level of organization, communication, and attention to detail

What You Bring

    • 8+ years of experience working in growth marketing, growth engineering or product  for a hyper-growth B2B technology company  Developer focused companies are a plus. 
    • Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of implementing large, complex projects 
    • Build, lead and develop a high-performing growth marketing and/or marketing engineering team
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - with the ability to inspire and engage the marketing team and key organizational stakeholders
    • Ability to apply growth principles, hacks, and AARRR framework across a variety of businesses and products
    • Ability to engage with our data in relentless in pursuit of growth
    • Deep experience leading a team skilled in with A/B testing and data analytics 
    • Experience scaling and automating growth processes
    • Proven track record of achieving results in a matrixed, time-sensitive environment
    • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders; consultative and collaborative style that allows for influence without authority
    • Ability to embrace ambiguity and define solutions where no obvious one is clear
