We’re looking for a Marketing Operations Lead to join our Marketing team and shape the future of marketing operations and automation at Authentic8. As we transition to Product-Led-Growth (PLG), our website and product interfaces are converging and the line between them is increasingly blurring. This is an exciting opportunity to own the operations and automation of our public-facing web assets and product portfolio, working at the intersection of marketing, sales and product. You’ll own all facets marketing operations & automation strategy and execution, the technical infrastructure, and marketing data and reporting. You’ll work in close collaboration with marketing, finance, sales ops and IT.

The ideal candidate should be excited to apply both their strategic insight and technical Marketo proficiency to scale our existing operations and automation's to new heights. You will bring a track record of building and managing high-volume, data-driven marketing and automation programs that drive acquisition, activation, and retention across the customer life-cycle.

Who you will work with:

    • You’ll report to the Head of RevOps, which sits in our finance team. Day-to-day you’ll work closely with the Marketing team, which spans content, digital, performance and product to deliver outstanding automation programs that help drive our strategy forward. You’ll also work alongside our Product team to support our product-usage data and reporting.

What you will do: Marketo, Salesforce and Marketing Automation

    • Own the marketing automation strategy and road-map in partnership with Marketing and RevOps leadership and optimize the Marketo-to-SFDC journey to ensure top-to-mid funnel efficiencies and expedited lead-to-seller handoff.
    • Design and manage the campaign data taxonomy, UTMs, segmentation, list management and related system design to ensure data integrity
    • Execute day-to-day campaign operations; including email and newsletter sends, audience segmentation, webinar ops, program integrations, list uploads, and end-to-end lead flow management and analytics.
    • Champion data hygiene within our automation platform (Marketo) - Work closely with RevOps to enhance our data hygiene, maintain efficient data workflows, and maintain legal compliance for our managed lists. Monitor and maintain a high standard of deliverability and sender reputation across our email and push programs. 
    • Create engaging marketing programs to support PLG motion - Work closely with our product, product marketing, and content teams to build and execute targeted and personalized campaigns, emails and newsletters that delight users, encourage action, and drive impact for Authentic8.
    • Lead our marketing optimization program - Hypothesize, design and implement marketing experiments that aim to iteratively improve our deliverability, engagement, and conversion for various automation programs. 
    • Mange technical documentation and socialize processes with stakeholders.
    • Troubleshoot, QA  and audit campaigns, workflows, data issues and other key marketing ops functions.

What you will do: Data & Reporting

    • Be the metrics-oriented leader on the team to help enable data-driven decision making, with a focus on pipeline goal setting and modeling.
    • Manage all aspects of marketing’s measurement strategy, including metrics and KPIs. Report/analyze the impact of marketing campaigns.
    • Implement, optimize, and simplify pipeline reporting/ dashboards to give varying levels of leadership visibility to pipeline progress for all inbound, outbound, product and partner activities.
    • Manage and improve channel performance on an ongoing basis - Identify areas of opportunity and work collaboratively with the broader team to share insights, and act on opportunities to improve campaign and channel results for Authentic8.

What you will do: Martech Stack Management

    • Manage our marketing automation technology - Own all aspects of our marketing automation platform (Marketo) and steward improvements to ensure we continue to deliver best-in-class marketing experiences.
    • Own, evaluate, re-organize, and optimize a robust tech stack supporting PLG journeys, ensuring tools are utilized effectively and efficiently and leads are mapped/visible throughout the product-led and sales-led funnels.
    • Evaluate new software and tools that may optimize our processes or tech stack.
    • Manage vendors and 3rd party integrations with Marketo.
    • Manage and maintain all web forms and deploy tactics to improve our form conversion rates
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing operations trends and tools.

Experience:

    • 4-7 years of experience as a Marketo system admin successfully managing and building MOPS function for a B2B SaaS organization
    • MAP certification required (Marketo strongly preferred)
    • Preference for candidates with B2B SaaS demand generation experience
    • Excellent communicator: strong written, verbal and presentation skills with high attention to detail – ensure leadership and colleagues are kept aware of relevant updates
    • Strong organizational, prioritization, project management, and time management ability with a deadline focus

Salary Range:

    • $113,000 - 143,000 (based on location and experience)
