We are looking for an analytically minded, ambitious professional to join as our first dedicated operations manager, focusing on sales and success with a potential growth path to all of business operations. You will have the unique opportunity to guide and implement sales and customer success strategy and workflow at a high growth, analytically-driven start-up. This role will report to the Head of Business.


    • Create and maintain CRM and automation structure to match sales and success go to market strategy, including providing KPIs and reporting to management
    • Administer lead and account assignment, team design, and workflow rules to manage sales structure
    • Optimize the systems, processes, and reports needed to support the design of our hybrid sales model, which includes online, one to many, and inside selling channels
    • Maximize usage and value extracted from our revenue-generating technology stack, including CRM, marketing automation, subscription billing, and product integration
    • Build and maintain dashboards and reports to streamline sales and success productivity
    • Provide ad-hoc analysis for the Head of Business, including revenue and pipeline staging, ramp and rep productivity, channel analysis, and source attribution 
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in product marketing, product, support, and executive management to drive cross-team visibility around company KPIs
    • Maintain documentation of Autopilot’s sales process and rules of engagement
    • Manage compensation plans and commission calculations
    • Drive hiring efforts by providing precise capacity planning, rep productivity, quota alignment, and channel optimization
    • Evolve our opportunity management (APEX and automation-driven) and maintain data quality so records are auditable and finance-ready for revenue recognition
    • Coordinate training, workshops and internal education events for our sales advancement ladder

Minimum Qualifications

    • 3 years of experience within Sales Operations
    • 2 years of experience as Salesforce Administrator, including using Data Loader and managing APEX development
    • Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
    • A whiz with Excel and/or Google spreadsheets 
    • Comfort / familiarity with running and writing APEX 
    • Quick learner with the ability to solve problems independently
    • Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude
    • Outstanding time management with strong organizational skills
    • Proficient with databases - ability to write SQL queries a strong plus


    • Experience managing CRM in conjunction with marketing automation, subscription billing (e.g. Recurly), and Segment for product usage  
    • Start-up and rapidly expanding sales and success organization experience 
    • At least 1 year experience in a high velocity SaaS business model
