About the role

Avalere Health is looking for a People Partner to join their People team in London. This is a great opportunity to provide strategic and hands on HR partnership to an assigned capability group (business area) within Avalere Health.

You will execute the Company’s People Strategy through the development and delivery of tailored and progressive People plans, working closely with your Capability Lead, your Finance Business Partner and your Talent Partner.

You'll provide expert People guidance and work with the People Centers of Excellence teams (Operations, Talent, DEI and Employee Experience) to drive organizational effectiveness, talent and performance management, learning and development and a positive, inclusive employee experience.

What you'll do

    • Provide HR coaching support to the assigned leadership team.
    • Partner with assigned Finance Business Partner to provide data driven insights and recommendations.
    • Deliver and champion programs led by the People Function Centres of Excellence
    • Lead talent management and workforce planning activities within assigned groups.
    • Maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
    • Lead organizational design and restructuring activities for capability group when necessary.
    • Coach leaders to successfully manage all fiscal year people management processes (performance management, resource and compensation planning, etc.).
    • Lead employee relations cases in accordance with company procedures and local employment legislation
    • Foster a high performing, high engagement culture to ensure our people are productive, engaged and motivated.
    • Demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, ensuring that this forms the foundation to our processes and decisions.

About you

    • Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent preferred.
    • Proven experience in a role with a People Business Partnering remit.
    • Ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and managers, providing HR advice and driving results.
    • Experience managing employee relations cases.
    • Solid understanding of talent management practices, including recruitment, development, and succession planning.
    • Experience in organizational design initiatives, such as change management and culture transformation.
    • Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and navigate through complexity.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive insights and recommendations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
    • Experience of working in a fast-paced, matrixed and continuously changing environment.
    • Proficient knowledge of UK employment law
    • HR experience working with international teams, preferably with the US.
    • HR Certification preferred (CIPD)
    • Demonstrates confidence and resilience when engaging with colleagues at all levels.
    • Experience working in a service business, or the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is desirable.
