About the role:

We are seeking a talented Junior Video Editor to join our Motion/Production team. As a Junior Video Editor, you will work closely with our directors, creative teams and designers to create compelling video content that aligns with our clients brands and engage our audiences. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about video production, eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment, and possesses a keen eye for detail.

What you'll do:

    • Collaborate with senior editors and designers to create motion graphics and visual effects that enhance video storytelling
    • Assist or take on projects editing video content from raw footage to final product, ensuring it meets company standards and client expectations
    • Edit and synchronize video footage with audio tracks, ensuring seamless integration
    • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine edits and enhance video content
    • Maintain organized project files and adhere to file management protocols
    • Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and knowledge
    • Assist in other post-production tasks such as color correction, audio mixing, and encoding for various platforms
    • Contribute creative ideas and solutions during brainstorming sessions and project meetings

About you:

    • Proven experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
    • Familiarity with motion graphics software such as Adobe After Effects or similar tools
    • Basic understanding of 3D animation and compositing
    • Knowledge of color grading techniques and tools
    • Understanding of social media platforms and video content best practices
    • Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and delivery methods for various platforms
    • Portfolio demonstrating proficiency in video editing and motion graphics (please provide a link or samples)
    • Story telling ability and the desire to find interesting ways to tell a story visually
    • Strong skills in taking raw footage and finding a compelling narrative within
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, be able to take creative direction and run with it
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Creative mindset with a passion for visual media and problem solving
