About The Role
We are looking for a proactive and adaptable Associate People Partner to join our People team and play a hands-on partnership role to assigned capability group/s. Reporting to capability People Director, you will play a crucial role supporting the delivery of our Company People Strategy and bespoke capability People plans ensuring Every Person Possible.
You’ll act as a trusted advisor to line managers and employees providing guidance around employee lifecycle activities, employee relations, performance management, engagement, and other key people topics including providing data driven insights to the business.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant resolution of cases across the regions.
- Coach and advise managers around performance management, absence, flexible working, disciplinary, grievance, and other employee relations matters with confidence and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Assist People Director/Senior People Partner with the implementation of client centric people initiatives such as career architecture, engagement survey action plans, culture programmes, DEI activities, and organizational change including restructuring and/or harmonization of contractual terms.
- Support delivery of people cycle activities including our career conversation approach (goal setting, mid and year-end performance reviews and calibrations), talent planning and bi-annual salary reviews.
- Take ownership of employee lifecycle activities including capability specific onboarding and sharing exit interview insights quarterly with the business to drive a seamless and positive employee experience at each stage
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations partners to ensure people data is updated in both HR systems (Cezanne/CultureAmp)and financial (Netsuite, Workfront) regularly.
- Use people data and insights to identify trends, inform decision-making, and support proactive people strategies. Run reports in CultureAmp and our HRIS system on a regular basis.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of UK employment legislation and collaborate with our internal legal team and external legal partners.
- Partner with other CoE teams within the People Function including People Operations, Talent Acquisition and Learning & Developm
About You
- Proven experience in a People advisory role with a strong focus on employee relations and ability to navigate through complexity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor to managers
- Must have a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use people data to drive insights and recommendations
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law is essential and US employment practices (highly desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality service delivery
- Some experience with organizational restructuring or change management would be desirable
- Experience working in a centre of excellence People team structure in a mid to large company
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment with shifting priorities
- Prior agency experience within marketing, communications or healthcare is desirable
- Preferred Qualifications
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) or working towards certification.
- Competent with Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience of HRIS systems is highly desirable
