About the role

We’re looking for a passionate, forward-thinking strategist to work across a range of engagement-lead projects. As an Engagement Strategist within Avalere Health Global Marketing you will be exposed to a variety of different projects. The ideal person for this role will bring sound customer-first, engagement planning principles to every project they touch, have a curious, analytical mind and be a catalyst for innovative approaches and thinking. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a growing team and work with global brands who are pursuing new and innovative technologies.  
The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking a leading role, while collaborating with key partners across brand strategy, creative, media and technology teams to ensure projects have clear direction and are managed and delivered successfully.  

What you'll do

    • Translate business objectives and brand strategies into customer engagement plans. 
    • Facilitate the engagement planning process (e.g. setting behavioural change goals, developing tailored messages, channel planning and measurement plan development).   
    • Tactical ideation and oversee the development and execution of individual tactics or initiatives necessary to deliver the engagement strategy. 
    • Bring your knowledge and expertise to a variety of projects than could span anything from an internal campaign (within a pharma company) to a patient support programme or a new website and awareness campaign.  
    • Measure campaign performance and impact and provide optimisation recommendations. 
    • Advise on best practices for channels and media formats 
    • Track, and share relevant digital, technological, and innovation-related insights to the broader team while identifying opportunities for applying to client solutions 

About you

    • 3-5 years of customer engagement strategy experience (pharma experience desirable). 
    • Comfortable presenting and engaging with clients. 
    • Experienced workshop facilitator.  
    • Ability to articulate engagement strategy recommendations to cross functional internal team and client teams. 
    • Understanding of behaviour change principles and basic UX/UI principles for design & development of tactics/experiences. 
    • Sound understanding of digital marketing e.g. SEO/SEM, social media, programmatic, email, CRM etc. 
    • Working knowledge of analytics and social media tools such as Google Analytics and social listening e.g. Sprout Social.
