As an Engineer on AVIO’s Managed Services Integration team, you will be part of a team of consultants delivering complex solutions for our clients implementing or improving their processes with MuleSoft. You will work closely with clients to clarify requirements and then design, implement, and test those features and configuration changes. You will also leverage technical expertise to resolve complex platform-related issues affecting customers.
Full-time employment (with benefits and PTO) is available in Colombia, Mexico, and Brazil. Contract engagement is available throughout most of Latin America.
Responsibilities
- Assist in translating business objectives into technical solutions through the use of the MuleSoft Anypoint platform
- Leverage MuleSoft Anypoint platform to enable the exchange of data and system information across experience API, process API, and system API layers
- Monitoring MuleSoft application runtime and performance
- Debugging and identifying root causes for issues in MuleSoft applications
- Coding, testing, implementing, and documenting MuleSoft-based flows and integrations
- Apply agile principles to capture requirements, track progress, and ensure project success
- Effectively document design requirements and specifications through excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Assist in the estimation of technical tasks to support the product backlog and sprint plans for client and AVIO internal projects
- Effective communication with colleagues and team to ensure timely delivery of development tasks
Requirements & Qualifications
- Availability to work weekends (regular work schedule will be Wednesday through Sunday or Saturday to Wednesday)
- English level of B2 or higher - written and spoken
- 2+ years of experience as a MuleSoft Developer
- Experience with web services: SOAP, REST, JSON, Java, Spring, Hibernate
- Understanding and experience with SOA principles and integration technologies
- 1+ years of experience with log aggregation or CI/CD tools preferred, but not required
- 1+ years of prior experience in Technical Support is preferred, but not required
- MuleSoft Certified Developer specialization is preferred, but not required
