We're seeking a competitive team player to join the sales team as an Account Executive. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to win opportunities with new clients. Ultimately, success will be determined by the number of new clients added to AVIO’s book of business from the Account Executive’s portfolio and the contract value for those clients.

Account Planning and Research

    • Participate in general sales & marketing strategy discussions
    • Research assigned ‘focus accounts’
    • Meet with partners and internal stakeholders for strategy alignment
    • Document and coordinate on approach strategy in conjunction with AVIO team

Prospecting

    • Account mapping with staff and partners to add new names to ‘focus accounts’ list
    • Online research to discover new possible targets
    • Outbound communications with ‘focus accounts’
    • Attend in person and online marketing events to represent the company

Opportunity Sheparding

    • Identify and document potential pain points within ‘focus accounts’
    • Cultivate addressable pain points into opportunities
    • Work with Solutions Engineer(s) to craft technical proposals
    • Work with sales leadership to craft presentations 
    • Work with ‘focus accounts’ to navigate statements of work through their legal and procedural processes

Account Management

    • Support the implementation team in the delivery of current engagements for ‘focus accounts’
    • Work with the implementation team to identify opportunities for strategic expansion
    • Work with the client to document and validate new pain points
    • Shepherd new opportunities through the client’s legal and procedural processes

Training and Development

    • Internal training on AVIO operational practices 
    • Departmental training related to AVIO sales best practices
    • Internal mentorship programs

Miscellaneous

    • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

    • Experience with professional services sales required
    • Experience with long sales cycles that include multiple stakeholders required
    • Experience with selling software or technology services strongly preferred
    • Experience working remotely preferred

Travel

    • This position may require extensive travel at times to client and/or prospective client locations.  However, the majority of this position’s work should be able to be completed remotely. Periodic travel to the Dallas or Oklahoma City Offices may be required for company meetings and training.

Compensation

    • This position will be paid a competitive base salary as well as quarterly commissions.
