This is a full-time, remote position open exclusively to candidates located in Latin America (LATAM). Applicants must have reliable internet access and be available to work within standard business hours in a U.S. time zone.
We are seeking a skilled and driven Senior Software Engineer to join our team and play a key role in building and scaling our core products. As a senior engineer, you will take ownership of critical features and systems, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate across functions to deliver high-quality solutions. You’ll help shape technical direction within your team, mentor less experienced engineers, and consistently raise the bar for code quality, performance, and maintainability.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable systems that are aligned with product and business goals.
- Own end-to-end development of complex features and services, from planning and implementation to deployment and monitoring.
- Contribute to technical direction within your team, helping to evaluate trade-offs and drive sound architectural decisions.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver well-scoped, user-centric solutions.
- Perform thoughtful code reviews and provide mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers to support their growth and ensure code quality.
- Identify areas for technical improvement, refactoring, or automation to increase development efficiency and system reliability.
- Champion engineering best practices in testing, code quality, and operational excellence.
- Take initiative in debugging and resolving production issues, contributing to a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
Skills & Attributes
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong track record of delivering and maintaining production-grade systems. (Nice to have: experience with developing AI Applications and/or public SDKs for large-scale developer consumption.)
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (node/TypeScript and Python) and solid understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable components or services, with consideration for performance, maintainability, and reliability.
- Hands-on experience across the stack, including client-side development (React, Next.js) and backend services (FastAPI).
- Comfort working with databases (SQL, Document, Key-Value Stores, etc.), including schema design and writing efficient queries for both SQL and NoSQL technologies.
- Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure and deployment workflows (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), containerization, IaC (Terraform), etc..
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues across the stack.
- Effective collaborator and communicator, comfortable working in cross-functional teams and advocating for engineering needs in product discussions.
- Mentorship experience, with a willingness to support and uplift teammates through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
- Growth mindset, with an eagerness to learn, take feedback, and continuously improve both technically and professionally.
