Azul is looking for a motivated individual who wants to kick-start their career in Digital Media and Social Marketing, by joining the Digital Marketing team as our Social Media Intern. If you are looking to pursue a career in either Digital Marketing or Social Media– while getting hands on real work experience, you’ve come to the right place.

You’ll work directly alongside the Digital Marketing team to design and build compelling social media campaigns to build brand awareness and drive engagement across social media platforms. The Digital Marketing intern will collaborate closely with other members of the marketing team and our product teams to increase the relevance and usefulness of social media within our digital marketing mix. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the social media strategy for Azul while getting hands-on experience under the supervision of leaders in the industry. You’ll be responsible for driving the brands social presence for both our customers and prospects.
 
This role can be based anywhere in the US remotely and is expected to work 30-40 hours per week through mid-August 2024.

What You'll Do (aka Responsibilities)

    • Day-to-day support on publishing of content across platforms (LinkedIn & Twitter)
    • Brainstorm relevant ideas for Azul’s social platforms
    • Create social media content and assets
    • Work with our in-house team and agency partners to create social media assets
    • Collaborate with the Demand gen, industry marketing and events teams, attend relevant meetings, and understand how social fits into broader marketing strategy and goals
    • Manage editorial calendar and all online content including the creation, drafting and scheduling of posts
    • Deliver feedback on content performance
    • Monitor engagement across our social pages
    • Monitor our channels and send out weekly social listening insight reports
    • Track and report key social media metrics

What You'll Bring (aka Education and Skills)

    • Undergraduate student, currently enrolled in a college or university
    • Highly proficient in spoken and written English with solid communication skills with a love for writing
    • Willing to learn
    • Proactively seek opportunities that align to social media priorities and goals
    • Ability to think strategically, but can recognize when you need to be gritty and roll up your selves to get tactical
    • A positive and collaborative attitude and personality
    • Able to work independently while managing workflow and priorities
    • Data-driven
$20 - $20 an hour
The hourly pay rate for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $20 per hour. Individual pay rate is determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
