About the Role: This role will be accountable for end-to-end management of Babylon’s US provider supply vendors, including streamlining operational processes, driving contract negotiations, sourcing new vendors, etc.  In this entrepreneurial role you will have the exciting opportunity to drive a data driven culture that will affect the entire operation in the US role. 

Network Strategy & Optimization Responsibilities:
- Author and socialize macro (national) and micro (state) network strategies that are grounded in driving efficient and cost-effective network growth
- Monitor network composition and identify opportunities to drive cost and operational efficiencies
- Support all aspects of Network Dev. planning, including the budgeting and KPI setting process
- Assess state-specific provider supply characteristics as an input to inform growth strategy
- Partner with analytics team to develop and refresh forecast supply models across prospective and existing markets
- Identify product deficiencies and author BRDs in service of the network strategy
- Build strong relationships with senior cross-functional leaders (e.g. Network Management, Product, Marketing, Comms, HR, Member Support, Legal/Regulatory, Finance)
- Support continuous improvement of the the US provider operations operating model
- Develop provider value proposition framework (e.g., mission / impact, lifestyle, development opportunities, compensation & benefits) and define key messaging with recruitment team
- Develop national/local lead generation framework, including defining the full spectrum of recruitment channels (e.g., in-person events, print and digital advertising, careers website)
- Work with clinical leadership and network management teams to define provider archetypes and determine optimal recruitment channel mix by provider archetype

Supply Vendor Management Responsibilities:
- Manages all aspects of provider supply vendors
- Work with on-boarding team to optimize on-boarding / off-boarding processes for contracted providers
- Partner with forecasting and recruitment teams to identify and fill short-term needs
- Develop provider supply vendor-specific performance reporting structure, and work with analytics team to produce bi-weekly reports
- Standardize ‘demand-spike’ supply vendor request process and compensation model to fill real-time shift needs
- Work with Babylon US physician leads to identify individual contractor providers who should be converted to Babylon employees
- Perform continuous process improvement across provider supply vendor candidate vetting, on-boarding, scheduling, QA, payments, etc. Drive vendor rationalization and contract renegotiation
- Develop Supply Vendor Strategy & Management functional KPIs to track and measure internal effectiveness and performance
- Identify and evaluate additional prospective supply vendors as needed

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in startup, management consulting, investment banking, or a related field is required
- Healthcare locum tenens management or supply chain management experience is preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to multitask, and keen attention to detail
- Highly resourceful self-learner, with the ability to operate effectively independently
- Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
- Highly analytical with a data-driven decision making mentality, sound business judgment, and the ability to back your analysis up with deep analytical thinking
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Google suite of productivity applications
- Willingness to pitch in and assist with other projects and share responsibilities, as needed 
- Bachelor's degree required, from an Ivy-league school is a plus
- MBA is preferred but not required
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
