BAI, Inc. is looking for a Mid-level contract specialist to Initiate, negotiate, review and execute a wide range of contractual documents. Responsible for reviewing Statements of Work and assist with the development of Request for Proposals (RFP). Will track all contract reporting requirements, maintain contract binders, weekly and monthly reports and percentage of completion requirements.
Requirements
Fundamental knowledge of Contract Administration to include Time and Material, Cost Reimbursable and Fixed Price Contracts. Show an understanding of cost accounting principles to include direct and indirect cost components and factors. The candidate must be knowledgeable of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR). The candidate must also be familiar with all MS Office applications, with special emphasis on Excel.
TS/SCI Clearance
Education: BS or BA in Business, Contracts, Acquisition or related field. Advanced degree and/or coursework desirable.
Competitive Edge Qualifications: Current United States Government security clearance a plus. Demonstrated outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills including, excellent oral and written communication skills through awards and special recognition.
Experience working in a SAP is preferred but not required.
$90,000 - $100,000 a year
