BAI, inc. is actively hiring for a Part Time Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join our team at our HQ in Alexandria.
Requires at least 16 hours per week, must be on-site at least one scheduled day per week.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for all aspects of maintaining clearances for company and contract personnel and ensuring compliance with the National Industrial Security Program.
Directly responsible for maintaining facility document control, including the safe guarding of classified material and the proper disposal of expired material.
Responsible for COMSEC management and maintenance.
Prepare classified material for transmittal and maintain records and documentation in support of classification guidelines on classified contracts.
Maintain the Company Security Education Program, and conducting security awareness training to all cleared employees.
Maintain an update version of the companies Standard Practices and Procedures (SPP)
Responsible for incoming and outgoing visit requests for the facility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Safeguarding classified information and material.
Maintaining employee and facility clearances.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Liaison between the company and the clients
Be on call 24/7 for security alarm calls.
Be on call to handle operations at company facilities when needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Top Secret Security Clearance required, TS/SCI desired
Thorough knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating manual (NISPOM).
Experience with, and working knowledge of JPAS, JAFAN, and ICDs.
Meticulous records keeping and excellent organizational skills.
Certified as a Facility Security Officer (FSO Program Management for Processing Facilities IS030.CU).
