Job Summary

As a Quality Assurance Analyst you will be responsible for executing black box testing on a number of web-based projects on various platforms and devices under the guidance of the engineering team. You will be trained in the company’s Quality Assurance process and be given opportunities to contribute to the creation of test cases and scripts.

The ideal candidate will be technically minded, show meticulous attention to detail, have strong analytical skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. If you are passionate about learning, building, and championing great products then we want to talk to you.

**This is a Remote position, however, that does not mean you'd be alone on an island. Bambee has been building out a remote software engineering team in the Nashville which you'll have the privilege of working with.

Primary Responsibilities

    • Executing black box tests on all web-based products
    • Executing and helping develop test cases
    • Identifying issues and generating issue reports
    • Reproducing customer-reported issues
    • Assisting developers with issue analysis
    • Verification of bug fixes

Preferred Qualifications & Attributes

    • Familiarity with Jira or similar ticket management system
    • An understanding of web based applications. 
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills within a team environment
    • An understanding of the software test cycle process

Plusses

    • Formal study in Computer Science or completion of a reputable “code school” program.
    • Experience working in a web development company
