Bambee is looking for a Senior HR Manager for its Corporate function who will support the daily functions of the People Operations (HR) department under the supervision of the Director of People. We obsess over the employee and candidate experience and in this role you will be the front line in delivering the most consistent and memorable experience. This position will work diligently with all teams in the company to ensure that we are not only compliant in all aspects of HR, but doing so in a strategic way to attract, develop, and retain company talent. This position will also support recruiting efforts by coordinating interview logistics, pre-employment background, reference checks, and onboarding.

What You'll Do

    • Establish strong relationships with Supervisors and Employees.
    • Will help design, implement, and manage internal HR processes using various technologies. 
    • Keep track of referral bonuses and coordinate with payroll.
    • Maintain our Applicant Tracking System to ensure accurate data, workflow status, etc. and support the Recruiting Manager in reporting.
    • Prepare offer letters and other on-boarding documents.
    • Coordinate reference checks, background checks and employment
    • Track and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, and certifications.
    • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
    • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
    • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
    • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
    • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    • Assist with recruiting functions such as creation of job descriptions, posting jobs to Lever, coordinating hiring events, scheduling and participating in interviews 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
    • Strong knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and procedures.
    • Strong technical proficiency with Mac or PC, Google Suite, Slack and related software.
    • Proficiency with, or the ability to, quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and ATS systems (experience with Lever a plus).
    • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
    • Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
    • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
    • Ability to prioritize and organize effectivelyAbility to work independently
    • Knowledge of recruitment trends and technologies

    • At least 3 years of human resource management experience.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and/or  SHRM-CP a plus.
