The Payroll Account Manager will be responsible for setting up customers in the Payroll+ platform; you are their primary point of contact during the payroll onboarding process and will help them gain an understanding of the payroll platform and services available to them

You will ease the stress and guide the clients through the process, provide timely information, and keep everything running smoothly during the onboarding process. After a customer is live, you’ll continue to be their point of contact for all payroll-related inquiries. The Payroll Account Manager will be using innovative technology to provide the best experience to clients. 

What You'll Do

    • Demonstrate the Payroll+ platform to clients to drive adoption of the product
    • Serve as a subject matter expert to qualify prospective clients 
    • Promptly and diligently project manage onboarding for all new payroll clients
    • Obtain previous payroll provider data, audit and reconcile discrepancies, and upload data for historical retention.
    • Regularly check in with clients as they navigate through their first payroll run date.
    • Ensure information you provide follows federal, state, and local payroll, wage and hour laws, and best practices.
    • Provide speedy and complete resolution for payroll-related inquiries
    • Conduct payroll audits to ensure accuracy and completeness

Who You Are

    • You possess intermediate knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
    • You are an excellent project manager, staying well organized, and have a high attention to detail
    • You’re highly skilled in all aspects of the customer lifecycle from onboarding to renewal, with strong client positioning.
    • You have strong verbal and written communication skills; you know how to get your message across effectively.
    • You possess excellent time management and problem-solving skills
    • You have a knack for diving into numerical data and finding the root cause of an issue when items don’t add up.
    • You are proficient with payroll software
