We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Analyst to join our Electro-Optic Technology Division. This division is at the forefront of providing programmatic and life cycle logistics support for a range of Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) projects. We deliver comprehensive life cycle support for military and national security EO/IR and laser systems, serving the warfighter across various branches including the Navy, USMC, Air Force, and SOCOM. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations through comprehensive analysis, productivity improvements, and continuous innovation. This position demands a blend of analytical prowess, operational expertise, and a keen eye for identifying and mitigating risks.

Responsibilities

    • Productivity and Efficiency Analysis: Lead in-depth analyses to identify areas for productivity improvement and operational efficiency, implementing continuous improvement projects across the organization.
    • Risk Management: Proactively identify, evaluate, and present potential project risks, developing strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.
    • Cost/Benefit Analysis: Perform detailed cost/benefit and best value analyses on proposed actions and ongoing operations to guide decision-making processes and optimize resource allocation.
    • Strategic Planning Support: Assist in the formulation and execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Operational Review and Recommendation: Conduct comprehensive reviews of current operations, identifying improvement opportunities and recommending actionable strategies to senior management.
    • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with various teams and departments to facilitate the seamless implementation of improvement projects and operational changes.
    • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize advanced data analysis and modeling techniques to provide insightful recommendations, supporting evidence-based decision-making.
    • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present detailed reports on findings, analyses, and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and documentation of operational insights.

Required Qualifications

    • Associate of Science (AS) in a related field with 10 years of experience in Operations Management.
    • Solid experience in leading productivity analysis and continuous improvement initiatives, as well as in identifying, evaluating, and presenting project risks.
    • Competence in conducting cost/benefit and best value analyses to support operational decisions and improvements.
    • Active Secret Clearance Required.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA) in a related field with 15 years of experience in Operations Management.
    • Demonstrated expertise in leading productivity analysis, continuous improvement projects, and effectively managing project risks.
    • Proven ability in performing cost/benefit and best value analyses, making recommendations for proposed courses of action or ongoing operations.
