Barbaricum seeks a Senior Web Developer Analyst / SharePoint Administrator (Back End) experienced with Knowledge Management (KM) and web development best practices for information sharing. This role will contribute to improving the digital production, business processes, and information flow of USSTRATCOM J2 products and processes within the J2 organization. Specifically, this role will support USSTRATCOM intelligence processes critical to near-term, mid-term, and far-term efforts for the Command, components, and partner DoD organizations.

Barbaricum currently supports the USSTRATCOM J2 and J6 organizations providing data science and software engineering services in support of USSTRATCOM intelligence missions and network engineering for C4 Systems. This position, contingent upon contract award, will expand Barbaricum’s presence in Omaha.

Responsibilities

    • Assist with the development, maintenance, and refinement of new or existing applications and leverage existing available software/hardware to enhance the visualization and flow of information into and out of the USSTRATCOM J2 organization
    • Advise and assist USSTRATCOM J2 KM program with the development of USSTRATCOM J2, Command and IC KM initiatives, requirements, policies, procedures and guidelines for implementation throughout the USSTRATCOM J2 organization to increase awareness of KM initiatives in the Command and throughout the IC
    • Advise and assist with creating new and updating existing USSTRATCOM Intelligence KM Enterprise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • Advise and assist on the synthesis and synchronization of USSTRATCOM J2 products with the intention of the websites being utilized as a major source for information sharing, dissemination, collaboration and decision making
    • Assist in providing training and education on KM principles, policies, guidelines, tools, and processes to the USSTRATCOM J2 workforce
    • Provide support by surveying internal customers to gather user experience and user interface feedback which will drive requirements
    • Use analytics and other available methods to dynamically generate metrics on data, web pages, and products to easily visualize and show relationships between the vast amounts of information
    • Create or use existing editable SharePoint lists to customize the display of the data, making the pages and sites more versatile to a wider audience and ensure custom features will not collide with OOB SharePoint code, ensure stability, minimize downtime, and ensure interoperability with existing SharePoint sites
    • Design, develop, implement, monitor, and adapt APIs for a number of different types of organizations in business, education, science, and other fields in which data queries are made via internet and cloud platforms
    • Participate in discussions, meetings, conferences, publication evaluations and special projects as requested by the government; providing accurate and relevant feedback within specified timeframes

Qualifications

    • Active DoD Top Secret (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) access
    • Possess at least ten (10) years ‘of experience as a Subject Matter Expert in Data Analysis and Back End Development with a demonstrated ability to work independently through projects with minimal oversight and review support
    • Possess at least three (3) years’ experience using JavaScript, Python, JSON/ JSONP, REST calls, and SQL for the modification and manipulation of new or existing APIs to support integration with new and existing capabilities
    • Possess at least three (3) years’ experience with authentication security features and protocols when creating or modifying new and existing projects
    • Possess at least (3) three years’ experience providing training and educating customer base on applications, to include documentation such as training materials, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and flowcharts
    • Possess at least (3) three years’ experience using technology to streamline unique business processes for the overall benefit of an organization
    • Demonstrated experience with Information Management (IM) / KM intelligence tools, processes, and activities is highly desired
    • Demonstrated experience supporting USSTRATCOM is highly desired
    • Demonstrated experience supporting a DoD J2 or similar intelligence organization is highly desired
