We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Logistician to join our Electro-Optic Technology Division. This division is at the forefront of providing comprehensive life cycle and programmatic logistics support for cutting-edge EO/IR (Electro-Optical/Infrared) and laser systems utilized in national defense and security. Our mission is to ensure that these critical technologies are supported throughout their entire lifecycle, from development to deployment and beyond, to meet the needs of our warfighters across the Navy, USMC, Air Force, SOCOM, and other defense entities. This role is pivotal in ensuring the readiness and effectiveness of airborne, maritime, and ground electro-optics systems through expert logistics and product support.

Responsibilities

    • Program Support: Provide strategic logistics planning and support across all stages of the product lifecycle for EO/IR projects, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and objectives.
    • Acquisition Process Management: Play a critical role in the DoD acquisition process, offering guidance and support to the business and program offices to optimize product life cycle management and sustainment.
    • Logistics Solutions Development: Design and implement innovative logistics strategies and solutions to enhance the operational effectiveness and sustainability of EO/IR systems.
    • Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine logistics processes and procedures to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
    • A minimum of 15 years of experience providing logistics support at the program office level, with a strong emphasis on the defense sector and EO/IR systems.
    • Deep knowledge and understanding of the DoD acquisition process and the ability to provide comprehensive product life cycle support guidance to business/program offices.
    • Proven ability to manage complex logistics projects and initiatives, demonstrating excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Active Secret Clearance Required
    • Preferred: Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel, with the ability to leverage these tools for logistics planning and analysis.
