Barbaricum is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to aid in the development of a robust Mission Assurance risk management process and data platform within the Envision Enterprise Data Platform. The ideal candidate will contribute to the creation of a comprehensive system capable of facilitating risk response development, tracking, and sharing of actionable data, ultimately influencing Air Force resourcing at both the DAF Enterprise level and across all levels of command. This role requires a strong understanding of data management principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications

    • A minimum of 5 years as a data engineer. Experience working in dynamic environments with stakeholders from multiple external organizations.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • At least 1 year working with data engineering in the Palantir Foundry data integration platform or approved equivalent, inclusive of both data pipelines and complex ontology development.
    • Demonstrable extensive knowledge of distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark) and Foundry programming languages (Python, PySpark, SQL, TypeScript).
    • Foundry Data Engineer Certification must be acquired prior to contract initiation.
    • Top Secret/SCI clearance Required.
