Barbaricum seeks a Microsoft Project Manager experienced with Knowledge Management (KM) and web development best practices for information sharing. This role will contribute to improving the digital production, business processes, and information flow of USSTRATCOM products and processes. This role requires advanced proficiency with Microsoft products, including SharePoint, and will lead project management functions in support of the J64.

Barbaricum currently supports the USSTRATCOM J2 and J6 organizations providing data science and software engineering services in support of USSTRATCOM intelligence missions and network engineering for C4 Systems. This position, contingent upon contract award, will expand Barbaricum’s presence in Omaha.

Responsibilities

    • Provide support to the Government with the J64 Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
    • Provide support to J64 senior-level leadership, USSTRATCOM customer(s), and 55CONS, to develop an IMS consisting of 1k+ unique IDs
    • Build a project schedule on a government provided Microsoft Project Server for completion of actions required to issue newly identified IT contracts/task orders
    • Maintain the MS project schedule daily and collaborate with J645 management team and the customer for variances to the plan
    • Maintain project schedule, published no less than every two weeks
    • Track issues and risks on the government provided Microsoft Project Server program
    • Work with the J645 management team and SMEs to identify milestones that are at risk
    • Track resource usage and forecast future usage, ensuring J64 leadership is properly informed of tasked resources, planned use and potential conflicts
    • Provide support to drive scheduling efficiency, de-confliction, critical path analysis, and schedule excursions
    • Deliver change impact assessment to senior leaders when schedules shift for cause or unexpected operational issues
    • Provide support to Government led root cause analysis activities for schedule anomalies and assist the Government to implement best practices to mitigate future risk
    • Brief IMPs and IMSs at senior leader meetings

Qualifications

    • Active DoD Top Secret (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) access
    • Possess at least three (3) or more years’ of experience working with DoD customers and basic knowledge of computers and software such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point
    • Possess at least three (3) or more years’ experience producing deliverables and milestones within the timelines indicated by the Government or customer
    • Possess at least three (3) or more years’ of experience coordinating with multiple organizations and presenting project information to varying audiences, to include senior leaders
    • Possess at least three (3) or more years’ of experience writing project requirement statements
    • Possess at least (3) three years’ experience providing training and educating customer base on applications, to include documentation such as training materials, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and flowcharts
    • Possess at least (3) three years’ experience using technology to streamline unique business processes for the overall benefit of an organization
    • Demonstrated experience with Information Management (IM) / KM intelligence tools, processes, and activities is highly desired
    • Demonstrated experience supporting USSTRATCOM is highly desired
    • Demonstrated experience supporting a DoD J6 or similar organization is highly desired
