The Role

Bare is different from your traditional funeral director. We look different, we talk different, what we offer is different. More broadly, we think there's an opportunity to change the way people think about end-of-life, and create a distinct brand for ourselves in the process. We're looking for a Designer to help us navigate the telling of that narrative across a number of platforms, including website, TV, OOH, Social, Print & and Display. We want to be different and eye-catching, and this role will be central to how we do that!

At Bare, you'll get an insane amount of work made. We think 3 months at Bare is equal to 3 years in agency and, just as importantly, all that work will impact society in a meaningful way - changing a long-standing cultural narrative in desperate need of renovation.

What would you do?

    • Work closely with our Creative Director to define the brand strategy and our visual identity
    • Be front and centre in generating new ideas for ad campaigns (and if you're not pushing the boundaries, you've not gone far enough)
    • Translate those campaign ideas to eye-catching visuals - social ads, billboards, print ads etc
    • Design beautiful and responsive landing pages to support the end-to-end customer journey from ad > website > product > customer >
    • Design customer-facing digital and print collateral - brochures, EDMs, shareable assets
    • Work with our head of growth to understand performance metrics to drive future creative decisions.

About you?

    • 2+ years managing & designing responsive websites, ideally including web development in software, tech.
    • 2+ years experience in graphic design (video, motion graphics are a plus!)
    • Fluency or ability to pick up a designer-friendly web dev tool
    • Fluency with Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Figma/Adobe XD (and other relevant design programs)
    • Photography/Videography experience a plus!
    • Some experience in user experience or conversion rate optimization
