Finance Coordinator


The Finance Coordinator supports finance processes to ensure the accuracy of financial data in a fast-paced, ever-changing, agency environment. The Finance Coordinator will develop a deep understanding of Barefoot Proximity’s project workflow and play a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient project operations. The ideal individual will exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The Finance Coordinator will have the ability to work independently on projects from conception to completion and be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
Project Workflow
-Work with Account, Project and media teams to efficiently create projects in AX Dynamics accounting system
-Create project quotations and purchase orders in AX based on project budget requirements
-Communicate project status updates with project and finance teams
-Manage the active project, quotation and purchase order listing

New Vendor Process
- Work with managers and vendors to complete required new vendor documents
-Communicate with Omnicom Service Center to ensure accurate creation of new vendors

Data Integrity
-Assists in the creation of expense reports to ensure accurate entry
-Reviews expense reports
-Reviews status of employee timesheet entry

Finance Operations
-Assists Finance team as needed during month-end closing process
-Maintaining and cataloging our financial documentation for audit and Sarbanes-Oxley purposes.

·      0-2 years of data entry experience with a desire to learn more
·      Bachelor’s degree
·      Experience working in a digital or advertising agency preferred
·      Experience with accounting data entry systems
·      Proficient in Microsoft Excel
