Bazaarvoice is looking for a sales professional to join our high performing sales team in the Amsterdam. We want the type of person that craves a challenge and is unafraid to constantly push yourself higher. You will be managing a broad territory of prospects and in charge of growing our portfolio of clients in the BENELUX region.
You should be able to run a full sales process from start to finish. This is a focussed role to drive new revenue with new prospects selling the full range of Bazaarvoice products and services.

Who we want:

    • The ideal candidate will be someone with a strong record of achievement in a new business sales position within SaaS &/or/other online based technologies.
    • Having a background selling into multiple Executive/C-Level stakeholders is a must.
    • Experience navigating through an organisation to sell a multi-solution offering, with the ability to drive urgency and be assertive in every step of your process
    • Ability to navigate ambiguous circumstances both internally and externally
    • Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines and objectives
    • Proven tenacity and success with prospecting your own accounts and setting your own meetings.
    • Comfort in developing a technical understanding of how our products work, to enable stronger sales cycles.

Key responsibilities:

    • Building and maintaining a pipeline of new prospect accounts.
    • Uncovering and understanding a client’s needs through in-depth discovery and positioning Bazaarvoice’s value according to those specific needs
    • Demonstrating the value propositions of our products and services by positioning a high-ROI solution.
    • Confidently lead a sales cycle and collaborate internally with various teams to close business (pre-sales, marketing, product specialists etc.).
    • Ability to manage and grow the territory with accurate and realistic forecasting.

Requirements:

    • 4+ years new business sales experience in eCommerce, digital or SaaS.
    • Follows a proven sales methodology. We use BANT which we’ll give you full training on, but we expect knowledge and experience of a recognised sales methodology.
    • Proven track-record of overachieving quota, and clear demonstrable experience of building champions in new accounts to draft mutual close plans with the client.
    • Strong work ethic: self-motivated with an ability to learn quickly and hold yourself accountable to hitting quota
    • Clear and concise communication skills, as well as effectively listen with both clients and internal business partners
    • Fluent written and oral in Dutch and English

Experience nice to have:

    • Additional language skills.
    • Experience using SalesForce, Powerpoint &/or Excel
    • Full authorization to work in the EU without any restrictions, sponsorship will not be provided
