Bazaarvoice is looking for a Sales Operations Manager to support the success of the Sales department by developing internal processes and tooling support to ensure our sales teams are working as efficiently and productively as possible. You will manage a team of three sales operation professionals. You will partner with sales leadership to identify opportunities to enhance the frontline sales people ability to sell. You will work cross-functionally to provide operational expertise to drive decision making for Bazaarvoice’s top company initiatives focused on increasing Sales conversion. Key components of this role will include project management, designing process and SOP development, as well as, representing Sales in cross-department initiatives.

What you'll be doing:

    • Proactively drive continuous improvement via process and tools optimization, process, or development of new process/policies to ensure sales teams are running as efficiently and productively as possible as the business expands
    • Ability to understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements, and ensure local execution and business impact.
    • Provide operations & project management expertise for our Sales initiatives
    • Partner with Business Systems (IT), Data (Eng), and Enablement to build and optimize key system integrations and all related processes
    • Selecting, implementing, and managing sales automation tools as needed to support increased productivity of the sales teams
    • Enhance sales productivity by enabling the team to work smarter by simplifying processes and evaluating new tools
    • Conduct scoping of projects with stakeholders to understand business requirements, level of effort, owners, and timelines
    • Lead cross-functional initiatives to transform and streamline processes to drive improved sales productivity and velocity
    • Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team

Who you are:

    • 5+ years of experience in sales operations with proficiency in process improvement, implementing and managing a sales technology stack
    • Demonstrated ability to train and mentor others required and/or previous people management experience
    • Strong data management and analytical abilities required
    • Strong organizational skills and process orientation
    • Loves to help make others successful
    • An attention to detail and ability to problem solve
    • Strong communication skills
    • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work both independently & in a team environment
    • Project management experience nice to have
    • Resourceful - takes initiative to get things done without excuse
    • Passionate for designing and constantly improving sales processes
