We strongly believe in empowering our engineers to efficiently design, develop, test, and operate the software they create. To that end, our Cloud Engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining the tools, frameworks, and infrastructure that make this possible.
We provide the cloud infrastructure and automation tooling to serve our multi-disciplined product engineering teams to improve velocity, provide moments of engineering joy, and ultimately act as a force multiplier for our teams.
We’re looking for a talented individual to join our team and take the cloud engineering culture to the next level.
Responsibilities
- Build, and ship Cloud automation and infrastructure.
- Propose new technologies or approaches that can improve our infrastructure.
- Create tooling to improve the developer experience.
- Assist with Cloud infrastructure planning and implementation.
- Continuously monitor and improve our infrastructure for performance, stability, scalability, and security.
- Implement security best practices, from OS-level patches to internal Processes.
- Participate in the on-call engineering rotation..
Essential Criteria
- 5+ years experience in cloud platform software engineering using languages such as Go, C#, Java or NodeJS
- 3+ years experience managing either GCP, AWS or Azure accounts.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. CloudFormation, Terraform, etc).
- Experience with SOLID design principles for software development
- Experience creating and managing a CI/CD pipeline (preferably as code).
- Fluent in understanding and applying common security principles in cloud environments.
- Experience with continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins, Github Actions).
- Confident and accomplished Troubleshooter.
- Experience in managing IAM Policies.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in the trade of Cloud Platform Engineering.
- Experience with writing platform tooling and systems in Go or Python.
- Experience managing and maintaining EKS/GKE/Kubernetes.
- Experience with multi-AWS Account management.
- Experience managing cloud networking topologies.
- Experience in agile methodologies.
