Become a key architect of the future of e-commerce! Bazaarvoice is on the hunt for a driven and seasoned Full Stack Engineer to supercharge our cutting-edge Contextual Commerce (CoCo) team. Here, you'll be at the forefront, architecting and launching groundbreaking, massively scalable solutions that redefine how global brands connect with shoppers. Responsibilities
· Develop and Innovate: You will design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance fullstack applications for our Contextual Commerce platform..
· Front-End Development: You bring solid experience implementing intuitive and engaging user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular), ensuring responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and optimal performance.
· Back-End Development: You have passion for building and maintaining scalable and efficient server-side applications. Your technical expertise includes Ruby, Java, PhP, SQL/NoSQL, Python, Node.js/Express.js, and/or equivalents.
· System Architecture: Your understanding of cloud native architecture will enable you to lead design discussions about the CoCo systems to ensure high availability, fault-tolerance, and security are foremost design considerations.
· Code Quality & Best Practices: Your code is clean, maintainable, and well-tested. You conduct meaningful code reviews, advocate for best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of our engineering processes and tools.
· Troubleshooting & Optimization: You identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other technical issues across the full stack, and optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.
· Collaboration: You will work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, data scientists, and other engineering teams across different geographies to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver high-quality products.
Essential Criteria
· Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
· Experience: 10+ years of professional experience working in or building large scale services or B2B SaaS companies
· Robust Backend skills: Proficiency in at least one of Ruby, Java, PHP, Node.js , or equivalents. You are fluent in RESTful API development and have experience with GraphQL API.
· Experience in designing and implementing microservices
· Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB)
· Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
· Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Team Player: Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and agile environment.
Desired Criteria
Experience with modern CI/CD tooling (Docker and Kubernetes preferred)
